Separation Anxietyby rubyrednailsComment: A great concept that you set up and captured very well. You can feel that the dog wants to join you in some fun... yet is patiently & obediently waiting for you to remove the separation. I like it. Bumping it up. |

Seperate Worldsby eqsiteComment: Tough focus ... A sharp focus would have improved the shot considerably. |

No more!by JasComment: I llike that ...going for a natural seperation ... The expressions on their faces is interesting as is the darkness and obscured view of the thematic area. It even has a smile factor. |

Wave Organ.JPGby RasaiComment: If you drive into the Yacht Harbor 'parking lot' and continue NE you'll see the Light Tower with a building further up the road. The road has a chain between 2 poles yet there is no access restriction so you can walk or bike to the end of the spit of land... It's a magical place indeed... take your fishing pole as well as your camera. I'll edit this with a good link soon"

South Gate.JPGby RasaiComment: Hello Paul !
I had a VERY tough time recently... If you noticed my Self Portrait Photos there is a bit of info there... I had 2 motorcycle accidents... One a hit and run in SF with camera gear wrecked (D1x, 300 mm Nikkor lens and the 24~120 lens)in August and a Fatal (flatlined twice in ICU) accident in November... Glad to be back... I've missed this community more than anyone could imagine... Take a look at the link I just got working on the previous post and you'll get a description of the location.

Yes it does in a way... The snapshot I took illustrates the elation I felt from having just returned home on my BMW "Adventure" ridding it for first time since my camera, motorcycle and I were run over by a hit & run driver in San Francisco (August 7, 2004). Upon my arrival home I also found that my camera was repaired and waiting for me on the doorstep. The smile was genuine & the adventure has been a good one! âEACHTRAâ is the Irish word for "Adventure"

The Separation of Church and Steakby edc1Comment: Great colors and a great play on a theme that I knew would be used a lot... I'll be curious to see which camera you used, The lighting was quite good so I'm sure that you would have been able to use the maximum apeture available to you to get a deep DOF. The angle needed to get a this composure would mandate the placement of the steak, so I'm wondering if the focus on the church could have been improved any? (Likely not) although the manual on mine says that it will focus sharply all the way to infinity. This shot inspires me to test that with mine as it would have really knocked off my socks with a sharp focus on the church! |
