A Day at the Beachby GeorgesBogaertComment: This has the look and feel of a 60̢۪s postcard. I like the blue/white parasol and the man and dog sitting next to each other. 8 |

Summer Solstice sunset by salmiakkiComment: I love everything in this shot! The repetition of persons and their reflection, the wide and desolate landscape without any other people, the texture of the ribbed sand and water in the foreground, the pole in the center (why the # would someone erect a pole in the middle of nowhere??). Just noted the first person is also standing on some kind of pole. One very small comment is that the horizon is slightly tilted but that is really really minor. 10! |

The flowby toutoungiComment: Funny how everybody is inside his/her own world, except for that girl.
Selective desaturation works well here except for the guy's 'bleeding' ear which is distracting. |

Far above us by NeatComment: This is surrealistic. The longer I look at this picture, the more I like it. The way it is symmetric and non-symmetric at the same time, both horizontally and vertically. The way the space is divided in 4 horizontal areas (building/sky/glass/reflection). The way horizontal becomes vertical and vice versa. The world upside down. And the bird doesn't care about this all... he just flies from A to B. Because that is what birds do. |
