So much to learn.by dickwilhelmComment: A very sweet picture. You really captured her ernest expression. I can really get a sense of the child's personality just by looking at this photo. It's well composed. My only suggestion would be to play around a bit with the white balance. Something in the colour appears slightly off on my computer. However, overall this is a very nice photo> Good luck! |

In the Darkby jeeperComment: Very interesting lighting - I like that you used negative space and lighting/tones to balance the image composition. Good luck! |

Monicaby AlexysComment: I love the way the hair is actually part of the balance/negative space in this composition. I like the lighting and the details. The contrast is really nice. I'm not sure if it would improve things to be more of a black and white instead of a monocrhrome (it shows up slightly green on my monitor), but overall I really like it. Good luck! |

Portrait In Whiteby channeledComment: This person has a really nice expression. My only suggestion would be that, with teh way you've posed the shot, you need a bit more negative space. I think the expression may even be enhanced if it stood out against a bit more of a background/negative space. The jaw bone isn't as important in this pose as the smile and eyes so the composition just needs a tiny bit of a jiggle. Overall a nice portrait though. Good luck! |
