Bee on Hollyhock

I find the problem with shooting flowers like this is either the white balance is off or the contrats is to high which makes it a little bit blurry. I think you might suffer from people sitting to close to the monitor and will see it as blurry. I like this shot and find the DOF chosen works well. The bee just adds so much more to it. I think this would make an excellent callender shot or just a standard picture to hang on a wall. Thats not achieved by many. Well done and keep up the great work in 2005. <8>

The border on this picture is just way to wide. I find it take to much away from the photo. The photo does have an interesting contrast on the blades of the windmill and it accents the red brick very well. The sky is a little dark but I find it brings out the colors and adds character to the overall picture but again the border is just to big. Kepp up the good work and best of luck in 2005. <7>

I find the light coming in from te back to be to distracting. I also find the picture to bo noisey or pixelated/grainy. The shot itself is interesting and leaves me wondering what it is you were shooting. Looks like a middle eastern coffee shop or something. Best of luck in 2005.

An Afternoon Walk

Nice landscape shot but if you look just off center there seems to be a smokey spot which I find very distracting. I would also suggest a tigher crop off the top to at least the top of the tree line (or the cloud line) to give the picture a wider look so it looks a little more panaramic. The image doesn't look crisp enough. Maybe the contrast is a little off or something but everything but the lady's shirt looks a tad blurry. The photo itself is not one I personally would hang on a wall but would find more in a tailors shop. The composition is well done but just to blurry to get a good feeling for. Best of luck in 2005.
