Shadows of Lifeby HaneckComment: A very well thought out image..probably too understated for challenge entry.. which is a great shame as it benefits greatly from a lingering look allowing the viewer to appreciate the subtleties.
Good work |

Blind Date by Sam94720Comment: Excellent idea and so well executed.
I`ve tried this type of stuff in the past and know how difficult it is to get right.
Congratulations on the ribbon. |

The Winner takes all by geewhyComment: Originally posted by adrian45: I wondered how the Dutch Press liked the shots - hope nothing nasty happened - you must be a seasoned pro though, so they will understand it was a technical blip. |
Thanks for the comment Adrian..in answer to above, only a small amount of shots on the day were overexposed..so I had a large amount to choose from when selecting for the press.
I mainly shoot for the team`s website www.falkirkfc.co.uk and the matchday magazine..only very occasionally am I asked to supply the press. The whole thing is a hobby and I`m far from being a Pro.
I have shot in Raw previously and knew of it`s benefits with returning detail into blown highlights but never found much advantage to it in terms of keeping noise out of enlargements with underexposed shots but maybe that`s down to my lack of knowledge on the technical side of things..I am considering shooting in Raw once more and doing a bit of research into getting the best out my camera..hadn`t heard of DxO until you mentioned it and I`ll certainly look into that.
Thanks again.
