Green Heronby zeuszenComment: What fabulous clarity...how I envy the choice of wildlife you have available to photograph in your part of the Globe.
A great series of shots in your "fauna" collection. |

Vacancyby zeuszenComment: I can`t believe this hasn`t been commented on.
The image lends itself very well to the treatment you have applied.
Truly wonderful. |

Three Piecesby zeuszenComment: I really like this style of work..the black background makes a wonderful "canvas" for the important parts of the image. It also helps enormously to clarify any geometric design element the photograph may contain.
Top drawer stuff. |

Real Ale !by RiponladyComment: This is a very nice "study"...it reeks character..just a pity you got that bit of overexposure in the eye/forehead area because I`m sure it would have finished much higher had you been able to avoid that.
Even with the overexposure, I think your score should have been higher.
You managed to capture a natural unposed look and that isn`t always easy.

Get Wellby Zap228Comment: I think you have been very harshly dealt with by the voters for what is to me, an excellent image and very much on target for the challenge.
It may be a case of the "Selective Desat Haters" scoring you low despite the obvious quality of the pic.
The fact that all your comments are positive ones would appear to bear this out.
Good work. |

Please Be Seatedby CalliopeKelComment: Didn`t get time to vote in this challenge..but if I had, then this would have received a very high score...I love it.
The DOF is just perfect for my taste and the blown highlights add to the impact of the pic (for me).
Definitely should have been in the top ten.
Very nicely done. |

Jetty and Flats, Provincetownby Bear_MusicComment: Quite breathtaking..the compositionial split works very well and the stone jetty? helps to convey depth while leading the eye into the pic at the same time.
Quality stuff. |

September strollby geewhyComment: Thanks to all for the comments and votes, I really expected to get hammered for the processing...pleasantly surprised that most people liked it. (Although it did gather the greatest number of 1 votes that I`ve had on any submission for some time (4))..So if your reading this Jason, don`t be so keen to capture the "Geewhy feeling", it`s not universally loved by any means, and your style stands up perfectly well on it`s own :) |

Waiting For Youby mandyturnerComment: I had the intention of talking my daughter into posing for an almost identical shot to this for the challenge..however, I`m glad I didn`t as I would have struggled to better this one.
Very nice shot which should have finished higher in my opinion. |
