I`ve been looking at the fields of rapeseed that are in full flower in our area at the moment and had exactly the same scenario in mind...only in my mind the girl had a red dress.
With this admission, I can hardly do anything else but give a good score.

In this shot, I love the compressed landscape which forms an inverted "Z".

Hope you walked up to the castle through the glen rather than driving. I was there a couple of years back and got better pics from the walk up than from the Castle itself.
"The road to nowhere" and the experimental "Once upon a time" were among the day`s shoot.

I`m enjoying following your trail over Scotland...must remember to have a browse through your portfolio.

What are you doing north of Watford :)?

This has so much to observe, most of which you have very eloquently outlined in your "writeup".
I particularly like the people in shadow perusing the butcher`s wares, adds that bit extra to the image but crucially, it doesn`t detract from the main subjects....a bit like a "Hitchcock" cameo role.
Superb work as usual.

Definitely a favourite.

Edited to add that this pic came from the reserve match that was played on the following Tuesday...this game ended up 0-0.

I totally agree with you that the dirty windows and the contrast in focus created with the missing window and the small gap really add so much to this image.
