Let me tell you what I like, and I think it's all there deliberately: I like how the bird has room to look into, how the stick is about one third from the right, how the darker area top left balances the bird at right, the catchlight, the focus, the processing which looks a little more relaxed, the iridescent glow of the feathers, the scruffy look from a bird well into the summer season. Lots more than JABS.

Beautiful lens for a portrait, and well focused. Can't be more than few mm DoF, but is exatcly where it needs to be and works beautfully to focus the attention to the eyes, to bring the rest of tha face and hands together yet to separate the background, also helped by the different color.

Interesting angle to take a natural shot like this - you must have been sitting in a stroller and pass by unnoticed ;-). The lines of sight for the 3 guys nicely bring together the three boys, and the contrast between the thin faces in the background and the round face of the filmer separates them again. I like the overall result quite a bit.

Here's a true oddity again. Watch how the fire escape constrasts to the masonry work. Great find. I'd try to open up the shadows a bit.

Tough picture to comment on. I like how you positioned your focus diagonally across the frame. The combination of colors works well, but I think that the larger oil bubbles are a little big, as is more evident from the overhead shot.

Beautiful location, but almost impossible to capture correctly, even on a cloudy day like you apparently encountered. I lime the way framed it with the leaves at the top, the leading line of the road, the diagonals from the mountains all work in favor of the picture. The branches at the bottom do not add much.

Amazing how you turned a completely boring picture into an interesting, beautiful composition. I really like the result, and would have never even believed there was any value in your original. Not just value, a true jewel!

What amazes me in your sports shots is the quality of light you manage to capture: faces well defined, shirts well-exposed, no harsh shadows and exposure overall spot-on. And thanks to your long lens a nice separation from the background.

Hoover at eye level, great shot with very effective DoF. I like the diagonal composition, and the effective use of the golden ratio, With the first square formed by Hoover and the second one by the background. Best Hoover shot so far, I think.

The way the curtain is defined is what I like best in this shot. Great lighting in the top left corner, and also on the metal parts on the box. Strong and simple, and maybe worth simplyfying even further. The lighting quality in my view gets lost towards the bottom right where it looks like you had to dodge quite a bit to get more or less even light. You could do away with this, and I am also not sure if the wall adds enough to keep it.
