I like this a lot. The chandelier is slightly off vertical which bugs me a bit...maybe it shouldn't since there's lots of other unsymmetric details. If there was a chandelier hanging from a cervix, this is what it would look like. Strange, but true.

there's a real comic-book feel to this, not just from the overtly contrasty style but I get an intense feeling of urgency and danger. It's like, she's lighted on the blade of grass for just an instance to get her bearings before continuing on with her perilous flight. There is danger all around.

Ok so unlike most insect closeups, I get a nice story from this one, so high marks from me 8 )
