Ministry - So What by PennyStreetComment: I have a bias for street, so I like this shot naturally. The flare, to me, overwhelms a bit, but I also see how it's key to what you're doing here, and you wouldn't want to downplay the great sky-light that's creating the wonderful shadows you've captured.

Slayer - Altar Of Sacrificeby MarioPierreComment: This is a great shot with a well lit subject and a carefully chosen enivronment. The main distraction for me is the amount of life remaining in the dead girl's eyes. She just seems too bright still...I know that's a bit ambiguous, and I apologize. |

Raging Watersby marboComment: This is an interesting entry to me. Not as foreboding as many of the others up front, but if you think of the catastrophic nature of water, and look at the growing swell here, you realize that this is truly a "heavy metal" shot. Well done. |

It's a Long Way to the Top - AC/DCby tvsometimeComment: A good entry! I like the "blur" if you can even call it that. It's more like double vision, but I think the effect adds to the feeling of the shot and does not distract. |

"Angel of Death" - Slayerby njsabsComment: I really like this, but I feel like it's overwhelmingly blue. I also wish the wings of the angel were not so...benevolent. I realize that's a bit intangible, but I think the image may have been better if they simply weren't there, or were more sinister looking wings. He's more like Moth of Death at this point. |
