Fabulous, really like the simplicity of it and I think you interpreted the theme really well. Not sure if the bg could have done with just a touch less "red" (less saturation), but overall I like this a lot.

ohhhh lovely :-). Great reflection and IMO really good interpretation of the theme. Maybe a little "50/50" in its composition (one side IF, other side OOF), but you probably wanted it that way :-). Not 100% sure of what those little white dots are - are they city lights? Anyway, not sure if they add or distract from this image. But overall a lovely shot

Very effective photograph. Love the colour/B&W you used. Personally I like a little more in focus, say all of the cards, or the top of the cards and the stack of chips in tha back, or whatever.

I think this is stunning and I am sorry you didn't do faaaar better with it in the voting. We grow orchids and I am constantly looking for new ways to photograph them - this is a beautiful portrait of their "essence". It was also the inspiration for my "DOF in Red" challenge entry - I didn't use an orchid and in the end it looks very different, but this photograph was the inspiration for it - Thank You :-)
