great shot, love the way he looks straight at your camera. Since this was adv editing I would have probably got rid of these light coloured flecks - looks like something he was eating perhaps. I am also wondering if you could have cropped a bit of the dark body part off at the bottom. It seems to add little to nothing to the image IMO. OTOH I like the green at the top, it contrasts nicely with your subject.

I like the idea, the execution in general; I am not mad about the crop, or perhaps leave the crop but turn it 180 to have the red at the bottom ... for me something doesn't work with your composition.

This image could be really nice. I feel for an Advanced editing challenge that you should have cleaned up the BG a lot (more). IMO, all those little white dots should have been cloned out, perhaps even the green flare type things, but definitely the little white flecks. A shame, because the photograph is really nice.
