Symmetrical (mostly) but feels somewhat flat. It feels like you're on a slight angle and have cropped this to get the symmetry in the image, mostly this is due to the bannister on screen-left being three-dimensional while the one on the right seems flatly two-dimensional.
increas in contrast might help this pop out a bit more, and it seems that you missed out on a chance at some wonderful natural lighting.

looks like christoph in the picture.
love the background and the idea, but the dird itself leaves me feeling that it was more neglected than the rest of the image.

i love the frankenstein's monster imagery here. I can just imagine you yelling "IT'S ALIVE!!!" when taking this shot and having a flash-gun fire off for "lightning" :D
