A Winner?

The subject is clear: a lens cap. The composition is good, I like that table of old woman game (as we call it literally here). The issue here is focus and light. This is not a challenging situation to focus. May be you had shot it handheld in low ligh and get a sort of camera shake. Then a tripod or standing was helped a lot. The light is a matter of taste, it´s to harsh, revealing to many hot spots and glares. Yes, reflective surfaces are challenging.

Not so much interesting picture. Perhaps it´s like product photography. Then revealing more detais of the subject makes it beter.

Ok, let´s do it by parts. The cap is clearly visible. The light was not so good. Composition don´t improve so much.

Wow! What imagination! What things do you drink before take pctures? ;) It´s a sad history but a like it. The lens cap itself is a bit hiden. But how could my vote be low with that creativity?

Good sample of creative instinct. You had a great idea. I like the picture, prefer it with a softer light. But is great as is.

Nice idea. Not so unique. You have a PoV (point of view) problema with the lens cap, that is a bit hiden in picture. But the real issue here is focus that seems to be loosed, and I know how dificult is to shot a live animal.

Nice lens. Great idea. The picture are good, like the compisition and love the light. But the DOF... Well the cap is not in first plane as the lens. Leading my eyes and brain to logical conclusion of: Lens is the primary subject.

Great idea. The picture itself was not so great due to so much hot spots. The high reflective surfaces are a real challenge to photographers.
