The Lighthouseby denisprayComment: I love the soft lighting and etherial feel to this shot. there seems to be a little problem with the horizon line though, to me it seems to be slanting down to the right. A little work in Photoshop rotate free rotate would sort this. |

City Celestial Celebrationby louinsdComment: Fireworks, Night. They do so tempt the Photographer don't they, and with good reason. this is a lovely image that has caught the celebratory nature of the event.
Technicaly, I find the image a bit pink. toning down the warmth on saturation to darken the sky and water would punch out the city lights and fireworks. nice control of focus and depth. |

Cavallo rossoby snafflesComment: You have perfectly captured this jump, there is movement, drama, intrest and a perfect controll of focus and depth.
Some may say the subject should have been more central, do not listen, the siting gives motion to the overall.
There is a little something just above the horses tail, an area I initially thought was blurred due to depth of field focus, but it may be camera or proccessing. It is the ONLY thing I found fault with in this image |

carouselby capsiconComment: Good grief this has impact. So much so I can even forgive the small amount of soft focus on the main subject.
Movement, drama, and a nice touch with the colour.
Well done, and thanks for sharing |

Cohoes Cascadeby NeilComment: HDR?
Oversharpened?
Nice image which has been proccessed to the point where it no longer looks like a photograph, more a painting. If this is the result you were after then well done. You can see that the origional image (s) was well focused and lovely control of depth.
I dont know, it is striking. good luck in the challenge |

Cantarellaby mrbig65Comment: A lovely Autumnal feel to this image, I particularly like the use of 16/9. despite the well focused and lovely judjed saturation I think this image is too uniform. Funny to say with so much texture I know, but a basket, or a knife, something else to break up the uniformity would punch out the interest.
for all that I love this image. |

Classic Chromeby essayComment: Nice, well judged tone use.
There is a loss of focus towards the rear of the greyhound, personaly I would have tried to get the whole of the hood ornament in focus, I know this is a bit of extra work but it does pay off.
I love the concept and use of sepia. |

Classic Cars and Cloudsby giantmikeComment: Lovely control of the B/W medium, nice crisp focus and depth
there seems to be either two ariels or a couple of lines just comming up from the second car back which catch the eye a bit too much and irritate. A bit of cloning out might have helped here. otherwise lovely picture |

Its Good To Be Home Againby GolferDDSComment: I like this, the control, focus, and clarity are spot on.
Personally I would have called it "are we home yet?" to capture the cats look. but eveything is a choice. Nice picture best of luck in the challenge |
