Golden Gateby bryanbrazilComment: this scene is phenomenal...i can only imagine what you saved for the the free study. As a tryptic...i think it only breaks the beauty of its natural lines |

Fading Into Nightby JunieMoonComment: well thought out. the moon is an exceptional addition. your camera seems to be the only thing that let this shot down. |

Heading Eastby GermaineComment: i bet this shot is fantastic undivided. As a viewer, dealing with the seperation between main components is difficult as it is (though in this case i believe very powerful), but adding the dividing lines makes it hard to enjoy the shot's full beauty. |

Neapolitan Viewsby ManicComment: at first glance i found this shot exceptionally interesting. further inspection maintains the feeling with the exception of the varying levels. perhaps that was how the landscape was naturally defined, but bringing down your top margin would have removed the uncomfortable horizon differences and betterhighlighted the 2 characters at the bottom. But it is your art, so keep up the arty work. |

Looking For Mr. Snake-Eyesby hokieComment: very dynamic shot. i like your choice of the 1 die in the center. it took alot of staring but perhaps i would have liked all the dice at the same focal distance...your final set seems closer. Also, and this is really nit picking, but this shot screams percision to me and your border widths aren't all the same. nice shot |

Step Into The Lightby aledfcComment: i found this very interesting. i really like the shadow on the wall and how it balances her final image in the series. i also like how her shirt line enforces the lines of the walls. i only wish her initial figure was more washed out like the next few as it currently is only distracting imo. more space above the hands might help the composition as well. all in all still intriguing |

Abandonedby JinjitComment: your shot has some very interesting geometries for me. The woman in the forground and the feet in the background with the crosswalk lines have intriguing shapes. overall i would have wished you waited a bit for "the" shot. his open hand seems awkward and the bottle is a major distraction also he seems a bit too close to the top and him merging with the walker to me isn't a good thing compositionally either. sorry for being critical. |

Frostbiteby HoddssonComment: though interesting, the strong coloring of the bg flowers takes away from the gritiness i would associate with a grain challenge. they also steal some of the show from your main object. i'm thinking black and white would help make this a stronger entry for this challenge |
