nice painterly effect on the mini-falls. I wish you just focused your composition on that section of this image, as that stuff to the left commands unwanted attention.

Nice exposure on the bridge. I wish you really dialed down the aperture so there would have to have been a nice smoothness to the water. Perhaps that wouldn't have strengthened your troubled waters angle, and that's why you chose not to.

quite nice. if only the others had cleared out and he flipped up the page for you. his expression is great. the overexposed tassle is distracting. still a nice story shot. i would have given up photographing everything else to get this shot...that's why i don't do this for a living ;) Looks like a fairly close lense...what about walking over and asking him to help set up the shot for you?...not that I've got that kind of gumption.

cool shot. here's where I would hope I would be able to separate journalism from a tremendous shot and safely center him in the frame and then photoshop out anything on the left that might have caused your odd crop. your well done dof is quite the nice match for the stamp tool. more straight on and it would seem he's conducting the entire mass of students.

nice capture. i'm going to be a jerk and comment on the composition...i don't believe the excessive black compliments the intent of this image. a thin line of black, would have sufficed and brought more attention to the sky and sun as I believe you intended

i like that you have made a statement or memorial with your submission. i like how meticulous you are with the placement of your composition, down to the fake sugar packet. in today's fast moving society it would be interesting to see a headline in the paper that was indeed a surprise the next "morning"

i like the general idea. the surroundings seem so odd for the commentary though. seems almost like no beginning and no end. perhaps that was your intention. your added blur does not improve the image for me. though going a bit further and blurring everything but the road and the couple seems intriguing to me and would comment to me on how life passes for some before they know it and really get to experience anything of value for themselves. like waiting for retirement and then finding it was just like walking down a blurry road of hazy memories and dead grass.
