untitledby jmritzComment: I really enjoy the abstract effect of the image. It gives it such a fractured feel. To me, it feels like Absolut Vodka in the city. The upper half of the image looks like the tops of buildings; you can almost see windows. The bottle of vodka is standing strong in the city landscape. The connection between the horizontal bottle and the vertical bottle is perfect: my eyes are bouncing back and forth between them. Your use of lines is perfect. |

Absolut Azureby markwileyComment: I like this photo. Your use of negative space is excellent and I love the slight shades of blue that really enrich that space. I also have to say the lighter grays that surround the bottle really provide a nice highlight. I don't like how the bottle is tending to point my eyes out of the image. I wish it was placed on the right side of the frame with some nice buffer negative space on the left. Also maybe lower in the frame, this image is very center-composed. Going back to the shades of blue: I love the effect the upper half of the image has. It almost feels like clouds. It's as though the image shifts from sea to sky. |

ON THE ROCKSby dreambigxoxoComment: I see your idea and I think you made a nice attempt at it, but your composition needs work. The bottle is almost perfectly in the middle of the frame and it doesn't draw much interest. I like how you merged the "rocks" on the bottle and on the table. Perhaps if you used actual rocks it would have been better. These glass beads are curved and pleasant. It creates a calming photograph which I don't think is appropriate for vodka...which for me at least evokes more edge (hence real rocks). The concept is there, just needs a little more time. I see the dedication in the image though. |

Absolutely undergroundby sarampoComment: I really like the composition of this. The curved lines of the tunnel frame the bottle perfectly. The industrial effect is perfect for vodka. The mud around the vodka is disgusting though. Perhaps some sort of board and a shallower depth of field would have been a little better, but the setting obviously was working for you and against at the same time. :\ The lighting on the bottle isn't bad. It's nicely illuminated, but it's a bit hard to read the logo. I think the majority of people aren't looking at this though. The halo effect of the tunnel and the framing of the bottle are hard to ignore, and frankly, my eyes are always drawn back to it. It almost has a mesmerizing effect. |

3.2.1... Liftoffby ChandiComment: You made the impression of a liftoff very well. I wish the color gradient was a bit smoother though (there's such an abrupt change from orange to red). Your focus is spot on and the sharpness is very good on the logo. Even though the angle is down, you give the impression of power in this. Well done. |

Absolut Push Pinsby pixelstudioComment: I really like this photo. I wish you would have had a different title though. When I first viewed the image, I had the impression that this was a larger aerial shot and the push pins were actually bottles of vodka! You did a good job with the shape of the bottle...but I'm not sure what push pins have to do with vodka? Your design is very uniform and well done though. |

ABSOLUT AL DENTE.by h2Comment: I'm liking your concept here. I think your fake blood looks completely fake though. It's way too magenta. Perhaps pulling in more orange in post-process would have been better (and it would have complemented the blue nicely). I do commend you for stepping outside of the typical vodka bottle portrait. The blood and tooth definitely adds interest. The reflection is nice, though the blood reflection is pulling the viewer's eyes out of the image a bit. I like the vignette the back-light has generated; I think it adds a darker feel to your image. |

Absolut Lightningby roksibancComment: I love your idea here. The orange lighting is adding such a nice color and complementing the blues in the bottle beautifully (which could be a bit stronger, possibly). I wish it wasn't so top-weighted though. I think shifting the bottle down to closer to the bottom of the frame and extending the lightning higher would create a more pleasant composition. The lightning (which it is also doing now) would pull the viewer's eyes to the bottle beautifully. |

Absolute Redby Tommy 2 ToneComment: Great image. The colors are very diverse in their shades. I don't like the vignette, though. I'm not necessarily being thrown out of the image with anything; the colors in the water are so soft and curling that they aren't pointing me anywhere or anything...so I think the vignette is adding unnecessary grays to the image (maybe a bit lighter vignette would be a bit more appropriate). I love the shades of orange, red and magenta happening here. It partly reminds me of blood...but then I see the slight purple and I don't even consider it at first glance. This was very clever. I don't think vodka drinkers want to (at least when sober) mix blood and vodka! Very good image. |

Absolut Coolby AllenPComment: The execution of this photo is great. The image is clear, the contrast is great, and the colors are vibrant. The back-lighting is creating a very nice blue vignette. It's a standard ad. It would do better with a little idea, concept, and pizazz to excite the viewer. Perhaps your idea is "cool." I'm taking it to mean "cold." What if everything was on ice? That would really bring the idea of "cool" more to the forefront and excite more people to quench their thirst. |
