Such a shallow DOF, I noticed the tiny liniation of focus on the yellow pencil a few mm inward.

Great shot, but I can't help but wonder if others are voting low since one doesn't not generally associate bugs as in indoor item. (Don't worry, I didn't think that way, I have plenty of bugs in my house, mostly spiders :-)

Hmmm, interesting. I can't tell if this bulb was on and you shot it extremely UE so it wasn't washed out or if you cast light onto it from an external source.

That gets me thinking as if the bulb was on, then a super high f/stop would be required and that would subsequently increase your DOF which is usually good for macro.

Either way, cool shot. Maybe just dust if off next time.
