Great idea and image, although I find the knife and fork being reversed rather annoying for some reason. 7

Hmm, a lot of unsharp masking I presume? Anyway, whatever the pp method it looks great, subtle though almost hyperrealistic. 7

Ah, your kite photography in action leaf... I actually preferred some of the other shots you did that were slightly higher up, but still this nice =).

Hope you haven't broken your camera from this yet!

Hmm, this reminds me very much of this image ... I wonder if it's the same photographer?

Anyway, my feelings about this are very similar too; the location's nice as is the framing with the blades of the windmill just off touching the top right corner of the frame. Also the expression/glance of all the sheep is priceless - all in all a nice image. My only gripes are that the saturation is ever so slightly too much for me (not enough to spoil the image and of course this is down to taste), and it's also unfortunate the image is slightly soft, though perhaps this is down to the equipment used? Anyway, this gets a 7 from me.

Hah, if this isn't timfythetoo's entry I think someone needs to let him know about this place! Anyway, nice photo/framing. Now I just wonder what the inside of that shop looks like =).

Nice dof, backdrop and framing. I know a lot of photographers in shots like this would probably clone out the stray hair strands, but I think they work quite well with the action of the model here. 7

Hmm, this is an odd one - there are images I rate higher in this free study but none of them I wish to favourite (which I have done with this), there's just something about the image that makes me want to stare at it, perhaps a sense that there is something truly spectacular happening just off of camera and staring long enough will reveal what that is.

Or perhaps it's something more subtle in the composition that makes this so appealing to me such as the movement leading out of frame both left and right: the man arching his back to the right of frame, the pillar in the middle leaning slightly to the right, the beams of light on the back wall moving rightward across the frame, one directing focus towards and hitting the man's face, and the left hand sign giving rightward movement with how it moves in to the centre of the frame. All countered by the left-leaning reflections, the sign gesturing to the left, and and man's gaze leading to the left out of frame.

Whatever the reason, it's a great photo. My only complaint is that the man being very slightly soft (or out of focus) is driving me slightly mad =). 8

A lensbaby I presume? Anyway, there are elements to this image I like but I just wish there was some discernible focal point. With nowhere for my eyes to rest I find it hard to stare for too long. Perhaps if the focus was on either the girl on the pavement or the guy in the window it would have worked better for me.
