Going back I had to bump the score on this one up - I get the impression now that she is dreaming of being back in the woods while she dozes off during a lesson about dead presidents and state capitols. I like it a lot.

My son would love that backpack. It's a pleasant enough photo, but I think a wider angle shot with more of the background in focus would fit the title and his curiosity a bit better.

Back to school - Back together

Nicely composed, but from the title I might expect to see some kids back together after their vacation. The impression I get from this photo is of the school bus enjoying the last moments of its vacation from kids running down the aisle, jumping and climbing around on the seats, gum being stuck everywhere, etc. I would have called it "back to the grind for the blue bird"

I feel like this could have been improved by cropping out some of the out-of-focus foreground, also I don't get the black-and-white when pencils usually have iconic colors. Selective coloring to remove the color from everything but the pencils might have been worth the effort.

The expression on her face seems to sum up how a lot of kids feel about going back to school. I think the photo could have been improved by composing to leave out the out-of-focus boy's head in the foreground, and probably cropping the top a bit lower as well.

The overall foggy look is nice, but it could use better composition to make use of the leading lines of the road and less of the sky, which doesn't add much to the photo.

Maybe you were going for abstract, but it's a good idea that could have been better executed by traveling or panning at closer to the speed of the boy on the bike, which would make him sharper and the background blurred.

This could have been improved by cropped the black shadowy parts out of the left (unless that was intentional), and maybe a different angle . I also see some blur on some of the words, could be a smudge on the lens or something.
