As far as technical photography is concerned, the only thing missing is something out of focus in the foreground.
As far as composition is concerned, what on earth is the point of that bowl?

As far as creativity and respectable picture taking are concerned, if I could have created something like this in my first five years of photography, I would have felt like I was on top of the world. Congratulations on a fantastic overall image. You even got the yellow background on the name/rx ###.

So.... Do you work in the medical field then?

Tempting to play the cliche card. There's some odd specular highlights in a few random places as well. Then again, I'm | | this close to making a cup of coffee after looking at it. Well, 22nd or not, this is the first image that's given me a coffee craving at midnight in quite some time. Awesome.

I want to know what he's looking at. I'm left completely unsatisfied from this image; what is he looking at? Why is he there? He is NOT a typical sbux customer. Looks like he's headed to the moon after he finishes checking his GMail. I can't even be bothered by the imperfections in this image - the deal on the bottom left, the fact that everything in the image (excepting the subject) is arranged just perfectly, etc - because the subject is that fascinating. Amazing capture - twice in a lifetime.

All images with an old-time'y feel will not convey the message accurately in color. Love is a very soft feeling in my world; not to be felt with hard edges and high contrast. Plus, the model's ear looks infected.

I lived the first half of my life in fast-paced, high-strung downtown Chicago and the remainder in slowed down, happy-go-lucky Kansas City. When I saw this image that old Chicago atmosphere came over me with such force that my heartbeat quickened. Obviously this isn't Chi Town but my first reaction to this image? GET THE HELL UP ON OUT THE WAY SO I CAN GET THE TRAIN!!! SOME OF US GOT PLACES TO BE!!! Such emotion in one image. Love it.

You must underestimate your skills - evidently someone thought this shot was unbelievably good! If I were going to question anything about this image it would be the vibrance +10. To create an image with such rich, saturated colors with just a +10 to vibrance is fantastic. These are the colors that inspire the feelings that make us feel warm, rich and full. These are the colors that we spend a lifetime learning how to create with a camera.

If I were going to critique anything about this image, it would not be the editing. It's exceptionally obvious to me that no advanced editing was done because the specular highlights (or hot spots to be more accurate) detract significantly from the overall image quality; the eye is attracted to bright colors and unfortunately, even though the image is spectacularly vivid, the white hot spots are more eye-catching as viewed from a computer screen. All of the colors are very enjoyable except the white. With no soft light, no advanced editing, and no ingenuity to create either of the above, this image is absolutely as good as it could be. Love it.
