Although technically nice, I'm finding it difficult to pinpoint a point of interest in this. The models expression is somewhat blank, I don't really get the same 'fantasy' or 'dreamlike' emotion that the rest of the image is exhibiting. I think I would try shooting from a lower perspective to exploit that.

I'm not sure what exactly is going on, but I like it (although not for this challenge)

Wish the plant had more cool tones, yellow and red both are warm, and with that as the focal point, it seems strange in relationship with the challenge. I wish also that the bottom right would have had the same cool texture as the rest of the image.

So many interesting shapes, colors and patterns on that star.

I find the rope to be a bit distracting in this shot. I don't normally thing of sea-life and twine at the same time.

This feels a bit flat to me, like it could use a bit more contrast or focus. It seems to be a bit on the underexposed side, I want to see more of the foreground and the nesting areas, but it's just a bit too dark for that. I like the square crop, I think i would have cropped in a bit further, getting rid of the shrub on the left.

I would have liked for this to say sometime in addition to what the original mural artist intended.

with that said, the technicals seem good. exposure is good, crop is nice, fits the challenge. The title is a bit vague, feels generic.

Nice shot. Cropping is good, exposure is good. The water close to the bottom has so much drama, I wonder if a filter or PP can be done to the sky to increase that drama?

good focus through the cage, glad it's not front-focused. Good exposure, I like the burst of 'white' on the right edge. The bird has such angry looking eyes. About the only nitpick I can say is I would have liked the full tail to be included.

Wild Iris

The first thing that I thought when I saw this was how droopy and 'dead' looking the Iris is. I'm not sure if that's the nature of the flower, and just a sign of how delicate it is, or whether it's actually on its way out.

I'm not a big fan of the composition, we're used to seeing flowers from a top-down perspective, so it's not as interesting as some other non-typical view points. This would look good with some more dramatic lighting, maybe a flashlight could be used to fake a sun ray or two?

The blues and the greens are nice, I think I would have tried to desaturate the warm background just a bit.

Such a strange perspective, everything feels like its leaning forward. Everything is nice in this, color, crop, clarity, lighting. I'm sure you'll do well.

The Grackle

That yellow eye is so piercing.

I like the square crop, the composition is nice as well. the bokeh is lovely. I'm not sure how I'd improve upon this shot.
