I love this shot. I think the dreamy morning feel of the title could be accentuated by lowering the exposure a little. A sense of dimness might make it more powerful. :)

Sarah - thanks so much for the in depth critique! I appreciate the time you have spent on discussing my shot.

Concerning the interpretation of the parameters for the contest, I see what you mean as the last sentence does say: "Take a photograph of some chips". The part that I looked at though was just before that sentence: "Many things come as chips or can be chipped (potato chips, poker chips, stone chips, ice chips, chipped glass)". Anyway, I was not too worried by the comments concerning this, and I don't mind my score suffering. I am new, and don't expect to place too highly :))

I do want to learn though, and that means I appreciate your comments very much!

I am one of those border lovers! I feel that often a picture can have an element that blends in with the background, and having a border can make the image stand out on a webpage full of other clutter, but you are not the first to mention that my borders are too overpowering. I am going to have to rethink this.

Once again Sarah - thank you very much for your time and insightful comments!

Brilliant composition and a perfect application of the "tilt" theme! Love it! :)

Unfortunate that the fill flash has left a zombie feel to the dog's eyes. I still like it. :)

Cool idea, but the color green seems cool to me lol. I'm a little confused as this isn't the only green shot here. But still, having a red chilli in the shot would also be a strong visual, and might be more along the lines of warm colors. Again, good idea! :)

I really appreciate all the comments! I am not sure where the doubt of the "chip" theme comes from, as the hole in the glass is clearly chipped, but I am still more grateful of you all taking the time to give me some insight! :)) I am also so glad that I didn't get a 1 lol! :))
