I have a hard time convincing my mind that this is real. But there is no other way you could get every person on the beach to look up, and reflections on the underside of the plane match perfectly.

Now I want to see the picture you took two seconds later that shows everyone being blown into the water from the jet exhaust.

I'm sure someone has told you by now that Tim Burton didn't work on Coraline. But Coraline was created by Henry Selick, and Henry Selick is often considered to have a similar style to Tim Burton. So I personally would say this matches the challenge nicely. I hope you don't get many DNMC's. I like the lighting and processing.
