You do have the contrast of colors here well but the grainy shadow and 'snapshot' feel of this doesn't do a whole lot for me. Low Res cam? High ISO?

This is a great shot, very creative. The only negative, I found the blur above the barbwire to be distracting.

I really like the angle and softness of the water in this shot. But the highlights inthe rocks tend to draw my eye away from the water. Maybe try reducing or burning the highlights on the left portion of the scene? That way only the water itself draws in the great highlights and the eye to the falls. Great capture.

Wow, it begs the question if I could ever reach a blue ribbon (translated to majority acceptance in voting) would I want it just to have some "opinion's" thrown at me in a negative manner, since I don't receive too many of those at my current standing.

Either way Manny, I like it. =) Even if saying that groups me with DPCer mentality, so be it. I still like it the way it is. I guess if you belong to DPC than you fall into a certain category for taste...Ah well. ;)

Interesting shot. I am not sure I like the color of the sky here as it seems either not natural or out of place and pulls the eye up. But the contrast on the tombstone works great and adds to the feeling of the scene.
