An interesting composition and good use of reflections. Critiques: The background is grainy and the black king is facing the wrong way. I see why you did it, but it just looks strange that the chess piece has his back to the opponent.

A very nice use of colors. My only critique is in the placement of the subjects. I think placing them lower in the frame and a bit left or right would have improved the shot.

Somehow you manage to bring life to little wood manekins. Have you considered changing your handle to 'Gepetto'?

Defying Gravity

Defying gravity??? Heck, if it wasn't for gravity, that top would should right out to outerspace. It's the gravity that's keeping in balance with the magnetic field!!! OK. Time to stop being a smartass. Nice framing and cropping. An excellent choice for this challenge. The only downside is that the top is slightly blurred, probably due to the wobble. Using more light and less aperture could have sharpened it. But overall, it doesn't take much away from the photo. Kudos.
