I don't know why, but I like this a lot. My first gut feeling was that cropping out the actual bridge at the top and leaving only the worn/stained concrete would've made the shot more mysterious while still keeping it obvious as to what your subject is (since you can still see the bridge through the opening of the first oval). Very cool!

Cool shot! Given the nature of the location, this might be unfeasible, but waiting for an hour where there are no people around might have added a bit to the shot.

Cool concept - I like the triangles made by all the shadows between the rocks. I'm not sure about this, but maybe underexposing the rocks might have brought out a little bit more of the texture. Also, maybe waiting for more indirect/horizontal sunlight might have created a lot of cool mini-shadows on the rock face.
