Haha! You are pretty funny. I always assumed you uploaded your originals along with your entry. :-D
I'm glad this is your PB. It's by far my favorite of yours. Thanks for the inclusion of how it was achieved. Looks like a lot of work paid off.
I see you slowly approaching the 9.0! |

Point of View by gyabanComment: Originally posted by gyaban: I'm not sure to understand your reasoning. You're of course free to think what you want, but with all respect due, many photos (even achieved with no or minimal editing) are nothing that could be seen with one's eyes directly (lens baby, B&W, wide angle, fisheye, long exposure, etc.). Consequently, I don't believe that if a scene can't be seen as such with one's eyes, then it automatically isn't photography. I also don't believe photography can only depict hard cold reality, many other uses are possible. IMHO, of course. |
I 100% agree with you. Well said.
Part of the appeal for me to your composite images is that they look photo-realistic. In a lot of cases with composites, that's hard to pull off.
I am a big fan of conceptual/abstract/surreal photography and the appeal to that style for me is when it looks like a photograph at first, then you realize it can't be...but that part of you wants to believe that it is and that it was taken in some weird world of altered physics and extraordinary coincidences.
I suppose it depends on one's...Point of View. |

Shapeshifting (She turns into smoke) by Alex_PetriniComment: This is great and is one of my highest scored images. The model looks a tad...bored? But maybe she turns to smoke all the time! Haha, still the effect here is nicely done and looks really cool. |

Fiery by gyabanComment: What a badass image. One of your best, in my opinion. The editing is superb, all the details are sharp and the lighting is spot on. |
