Ground Zeroby muur88Comment: I think there is a lot of compositing going on here. The color temperature on the guy on the far left doesn't seem to match the rest of the picture; and his neck seems to have some sort of shadowy growth on it (leftover background). There are interesting highlights around the feet of the blue-shirt-camera-guy. The prophet's left arm is slightly see through. The police officer looks like he's in different lighting. Captain America's sign seems to be missing a contact shadow on the ground. And the middle guy in the black shirt looks too friendly and interesting to be from NYC (kidding on that). Also, the two women posing are posing for...who?
I'm probably wrong on most of this stuff, but this is what I see. Still, I bet this picture took some time! |

Right! I'll do you for that!by MAKComment: I can't tell if those are jpg artifacts around that bee or remnants of digital compositing. I'm thrown off because of the blurring either. It looks like a blur filter, but the fur is either painstakingly masked out, or it's just shot with a really wide aperture (which I have no experience doing). It's just that the feathers in the mouth look *very* blurry compared to the feather below the cat's face that seem to be the same distance away.
I'm going to guess digitally manufactured, but I mainly feel safe in saying that because I think the bee was added later (at least!)
Looking forward to an answer after the challenge! |

The Attackby Tommy_MacComment: The shadows on the upper child look a bit harsh compared to the shadows on the rest of the image. Plus the direction of that light indicates a flash and the flash would have to be really high (above him) to cast that light, leading me to believe his picture was captured while he was lower in the camera frame and he was later digitally moved. The lower boy's left arm also looks pasted against that background.
I also believe if that ninja turtle really existed he would have stopped those two boys from fighting. Really..what is that turtle thing?? :-D
Final verdict: 'shopped. |

Of Birds and Waterdropsby vawendyComment: I believe this is a digital composite. I can see slight reflection of the splash on the left side under the wing, but I don't see a reflection of the bird's wing! The resolution/clarity of the water and bird's wings also seems to be slightly different. Still, it's pretty convincing. |

Gallery of Foolsby PennyStreetComment: My guess is that this is a composite of at least two images. If so, it's convincing and definitely portrays a sense of movement and business. |

Holy Lightsby StructorComment: Very pretty. I think the moon was added or altered in PP. If you used a big zoom lens to make it look bigger, you wouldn't have gotten so many stars. Real or not it's a very pretty shot. |

Song of the Siren by hesitantComment: Wow. Cool shot. I think you got a good perspective on this that makes it look like there is a ship where there is not supposed to be a ship. I do, however, believe this is real. |

Why?by Yo_SpiffComment: This is a very cool image. Dark and ominous. I'm going to say this is a real statue with some texture overlays. I might be wrong about that, and I'd be glad either way. It's a neat image. |

Flood at the toy storeby gyabanComment: This processing is very Gyaban-esque. Nice strong complementary colors. Were you inspired by this? I have yet to see an infinite pond so my judgement is digitally manufactured. |
