Feeding Frenzyby SteveJComment: I love the commotion. I wish the plaque on the dock tied to the challenge or otherwise added another layer to the story. As it is I think I'd prefer that the dock wasn't in the shot at all. Still, very nice shot. |

Wingspanby FocusPointComment: Nice shot. I love the detailed look at the plumage. I wish the background was hazier, lighter, or just a different color. I prefer the bluish hues towards the top versus brownish ones towards the bottom. |

Poetry in motionby onarComment: I love the straight line blur of the background; I love the motion blur of the birds' wings. The shot would not be nearly as effective without the sunlight glinting off their beaks. Awesome. |

Zen and the art of flyingby OdedComment: I have been waffling on whether I think the extreme contrast was too much or not. Regardless, the shot works for me. I just wonder if I would have liked it more if the shot was more zoomed in for fewer birds but clearer silhouettes. |

Baby I'm Leavin' Youby hhuddleComment: I can't decide if I wish I couldn't see the bird's head at all, or if it's better to see the little bit I can. Aside from that, I love the sharp color contrast in the wings and tail and the beautifully out of focus water beyond. For this shot I really like the black bars emphasizing the horizontal. |

Touching My Reflectionby QikiComment: Unfortunately the neck stripe distractingly blends with the right wing. Also, there are a handful of distracting reflections on the water (such as right near the beak). Aside from those things, spectacular shot. Catching the wingtip touching the water was just fantastic. |
