Portrait of a Dead Carnivorous Night Animal and the N6by CervaasComment: Yes. I think that too when I see this......I am glad it was not me. Thanks for your description. I completely understand your thought processes and concerns upon seeing this type of thing. Shake it off now and go shoot some running or dancing animals!!! :-) |

Portrait of a Dead Carnivorous Night Animal and the N6by CervaasComment: Oh shoot...I really was gonna say it takes guts to post this...no seriously...I think about my classmate from high school Mary who shot road kill....is this Mary??????? Geez THAT would be strange. I posted a photo of a deer carcass once for a lucky thirteen challenge.....as the eviscerated deer had 13 ribs....did NOT score well....I came across it in a row of cedars planted in a 100 acre tree nursery....kinda freaked me out....but my first reaction was to photograph it....horror/fascination.... the end of another life....
This one is not that hard to look at.....it's the one covered in maggots with bulbous swollen bulging organs that kinda get me.....high mark for courage to post this..... |

Tenebraeby skewsmeComment: Tenebrae is a Latin word for darkness.... or shadows. The word predates any Christian practices. I I find it fascinating how many contemporary reference books, be they dictionaries or school text books temper their selections based on religious or political "correctness" in this country. |
