Peeking Throughby illini75Comment: They are incredible, those vines! A tighter crop, eliminating the triangle of ground would make this poetic. |

Bokeh III by jmritzComment: I have blotches of petrified paint on my concrete walk at my farmhouse....also a petrified piece of chewing gum. I look at it practically every time I walk up to the barn to get my mail. I have yet to stop and try to chip it off. |

spotby herfotomanComment: I like the little fellow. I would like to see darker grays and some lighter lights and perhaps a tighter crop. Just my opinion. |

Crossing the streamsby PGSadriComment: I go for this, as I spend a lot of time excitedly taking shots from the airplane whenever I fly anywhere at night. So I get the excitement part. I would call this a "light movement" technique. |

Beauty does not need wordsby pgirish007Comment: Pleasant concept, nicely composed, lovely young lady!
Pulling in and eliminating the green cloth and right side shadow, less of the back of her head might improve the framing. |

Bird Houseby PaulG13Comment: I think you get the concept. The execution may be a bit overdone as far as the division and ratio of bokeh to subject. Rather than an effective use of bokeh it seems as though this object in the front/right it just in the way of an otherwise ordinary shot of your back yard birdhouse. The hydrangea and branches might be props for another try. I'd like to see you shoot the birdhouse, at sunset or sunrise or with some sort of direct lighting (if the sun never hits is naturally) that casts shadows and highlights the house and use some of those branches as the foreground bokeh, perhaps lit also, so there may be some mystery or more interest.
I read that again today. I apologize for sounding harsh. I am trying to comment on all shots in this challenge. To say what I like and comment on what I think could be improved. I wish more people would do this, as I could certainly use more comments on my shots! |

out of focus - out of tuneby damjanevComment: time to tune it then! This makes me want to find my old guitar.
I looked for it in the attic...it's gone. I am going to buy a banjo! |
