I am unpersuaded by this photo...it feels like an "accidental" shot that was supposed to capture more of the sign and didn't quite focus correctly. Nice try, of course!

I like the composition but not the color. I think this one could be enhanced with saturation and contrast to make it a bit stronger.

Well, I'm pleased to see that the vast majority of the votes on this one were 5's--right smack dab in the middle. I knew the subject of this shot was probably going to be difficult to sell, and I think I've learned a lot from the commentators. The shot is clearly overexposed--beyond effectiveness, I think--and its a little blurry. I sincerely appreciate everyone's opinions, and we'll keep on pluggin'. Practice is what this is all about for me...learn what works and what doesn't.

Personally, I'm bustin' about just breaking the 5.0 mark with this one.

The composition of this shot is incredible. For my personal taste, I would have cropped tighter on the top, but it's highly effective as is.

Looks like you tried the unsharp mask... I'm not positive, of course....but the whole foreground remains blurry to me. The background, meanwhile, is gorgeous.
