Lost Identity!by tjpierreComment: Your picture does display the fear of "Stolen Identity" very well. It is well composed and shows good DOF. I think it would be better if you could have included some other item to lock it in to the fear factor, because a lot of people will not be able to imagine what you mean. |

Scaredy Catby iggy386Comment: A pretty fearful lookin feline. I am a little concerned about the composition and focus so I will rate it a 6. Autool |

Arachnophobiaby jonrComment: A nice effect on your web, but I have difficulty making out your spider. Yes they are fearful to most but much more so if they are clearly represented in the picture. A 4 by Autool |

brokenby ritaardComment: If the figure in the background could have shown that he was really trying to escape you would have met the challenge without doubt. The shadow tends to lead the eye past the broken pottery and without your title I would have missed it. A 5 by Autool |

Arachnophobiaby eddyComment: Without some of its natural surroundings this one reminds me of a science class specimen, which loses the fear factor. A 5 by Autool |

That's Close Enough!by autoolComment: Just a quick note to thank you all for the nice and interesting comments and votes. My "That's Close Enough" picture was fairly difficult for me as she would not pose. I had been perched on a ladder long enough that I really wanted to reach out and turn her just a little. When I did take a shot I would get her out of focus or she had the wrong end pointing at the lens. I got one of her with her stinger ready for action, and then I took a little break so she might settle down. I am real pleased with placing 14th, as I knew it was on the edge for a true "Fear" shot. Oh by the way. No she isn't plastic, nor is she upside down, this is the way they hang. I should have entered her the other way around because she is a lot more intimidating. Thanks, Autool |

Arachnaphobiaby burlapComment: To see one of these would probably scare the majority of us, but your picture seems to make him out to be a nice guy with a smile on his face. What is that extra body part in the upper right of the photo? I would have like to see a clearer shot, and you lost some composition when you tried to make him look bigger and chopped off his legs. a 4 by Autool |

Dollhead's Revengeby jgillComment: I don't especially like your portrayal of fear, but you have captured it well. I give you a 7 on this one. Autool |

too lateby olyaComment: It is just too bad the rascal couldn't have been flapping those wings about a houndred miles an hour. Then you would have had real fear. Macros sure are hard to get in total focus on a three dimensional subject, aren't they. That would have helped considerably. The bright spot on the right is quite distracting and may have caused some of your difficulty. A 6 by Autool |
