Contrastby paynekjComment: Bummer! I gave this photo a nine, the only other photo I also gave a nine received the blue ribbon. I really like the lighting and the contrast (as the title states) between the harsh, flashy tin foil and more textured and subtle stone crucible. |

Big Ridgeby JiaBobComment: My favorite so far. Horizon seems a bit off-level, but there's great detail and the curve of the branch parallels the curved hills. A little shadowing and some haze in the sky, but much better than gross HDR levels. |

Housekeeping by AlainComment: The coolest thing just happened. Since my monitor isn't very large, the photo opened in dimensions bigger than my browser and as I scrolled down through the frame, the angle change makes the photo seem to be moving as if I'm actually tilting my head down. Great photo as is. |
