this is a nice portrait with classic, slightly old-fashioned poses. the line between sand and sky crosses behind the subject's head making the portrait seem even more intriguing with the framing being completed by the two trees/bushes. A deceptively simple shot and it may not do well here as the focus could be sharper and the lighting is a bit harsh, but I think it is excellent. Well done.

thanks for all the comments, much appreciated. @ nam, bobnospum, abra - The shot is pretty much straight out of camera; I was going for a 'pure' street photography shot with no PP, not even a crop. Maybe B&W would have worked better, and, tiny the other shot would almost definitely have scored higher. What I get for making decisions an hour before cut off time (4 a.m. here!)
