Good idea. This could have scored higher if it wasn't soooo overexposed. The wide white frame seems to make things even worse. A plain B&W picture would have been better.

Very nice image but small and blocky. Hand holding pencil is blurry and most of image is not focussed. Not sure what pencil is doing in the image since there is no place to write and nothing on which to write, or is the microscope resting on a glass-top table?

Cool idea, but I find your choice of focus point not quite right. I would have focused on the teeth instead of the nasal cavity. I imagine you were trying to bring out the bone structure of the nasal cavity.

A shot closer to the skull showing teeth, nasal cavity and part of occipital bones only would have been interesting as well.

What kind of animal is this? From my limited knowledge of mammalian dentition structure, I would guess that this might be some sort of sea mammal. Seal maybe?

Excellent idea, but too bad it's so badly lit. Creases in background are also ditracting from this neat image. Seems slightly out of focus as well. One of the most original ideas for this challenge.
