Looks like a flash was used which brightens the focal point too much, would have been more interesting of a higher ISO was used which would cut out the use of the flash.

Nice subject matter, but the flash takes away its mystery, and washes out the shot, would have been nice if you used a higher ISO without using the flash at all. The cropped right hand side of the photo is also a bit distracting as the eye follows the lateral lines but then is cut off on the right, otherwise good composition. I would have also cropped the top off a bit and placing the horizontal line in the top thrid of the photo instead of the middle.

Your eye is drawn to the Door knob which is out of focus and is distracting. Your composition was good.

Focal point in the middle third of the photo, better if it weere moved into the top third to balance the shot, which then would have left space to include the entire shadow, which is currently cut off.
