in my mindby mariucaComment: Shapes, lights, textures, shadow, light. It's quite a tableau in that mind of yours. Nicely imagined. |

Clear Copyby JudiComment: As if you'd created a giant black pixel in the middle of an analog supply room. Love the imaginative approach! |

Colorful living by tamatamaComment: An initially striking photo that holds up to longer (and repeated) views. I don't predict challenge outcomes, but I hope you do well! |

well dang, this was one of my favorites and now I see it's a copy of something on shutterstock. |
Sorry... I can't claim the idea as an original. I don't use or visit Shutterstock, and frankly, don't remember where/when I originally saw something like this. I created it with the intent of honing some compositing skills and representing a concept about freedom that I thought was particularly germane in our current environment.
So...
Derivative? Yep. No objection to that characterization.
Shameless copy? Not a chance.
Demonstration of improved PP abilities? Absolutely.
Happy with the result/score: Affirmative
Art? Hmmm... I guess that's a question for the beholder.
Thanks for the comments. It's alright with me if it's still one of your favorites :-)
Or not.
