A-Maze-ing Colorful Cornby DennisheckmanComment: I'm not able to vote on member challenges, but I regularly click through the images and comment on the ones that make me stop and look a little longer. This is one of those images.
Macro photos can be predictably flowers and insects or more likely both. I appreciate subjects you might not expect in this category. This is nicely done... Kudos. Hope it does well. |

I particularly like the way the central droplet caputures my attention, despite it's relative small size overall. Kudos. Hope it does well. |

Can't say I'm normally a fan of macro insect photos, but this really caught my eye. The background flower is subtle. I find myself wanting to see it with greater DOF... just to compare it to the level of background focus you created. Nice work. Hope it does well. |

I've seen this image (or ones like it) often - even tried to take a few. None in recent memory captures the scene as effectively as this. I particularly like the rugs on the green building. Kudos on a fine composition, spot on exposure, and sharpness and for not over-saturating the colors. |

Absolutely lovely. I'm having trouble identifying why this photo made me stop and look. Other than to say it's an excellent take on a often attempted subject type. The placement of your horizon and composition that places more detail in the reflection than the sky is particularly effective, as is the limited presence of reds from the sky. Kudos. Hope it does well. |

Love the composition and the colors. This is a photo, I'll come back to after the voting to get more info and look further at your portfolio. Kudos. Hope it does well. |

I'm dying to come back after voting and see more about your processing. Its an effective homage to Norman Rockwell. Kudos. Hope it does well. |

I'm guessing this might be Bodie, or some similar ghost town. The arrangement of the room and its contents feels staged. Nonetheless, this is a stunning photo. Highly effective use of wide angle, the B&W processing is impeccable, and it tells a story I want to know more about. Kudos. Hope it does well... |

Not sure how much of the color palette was a result of post-processing vs the actual scene. Regardless this is a really effective use of limited colors (red/rust and greens). I wasn't initially sure what drew me to the photo. As I look more carefully, it's the combination of composition and color. Kudos... hope it does well. |

Clever idea for the theme. I like the way depiction of the slightly irregular distances between seconds. Probably not something one would notice without the long shutter technique. |
