Way Back When...by DavidLevinComment: Yes, I see nostalgia but not sure about the processing of the image gives a feeling of darker rather than happier times. |

Circa 1870 by Dwight1973Comment: More times past than nostalgia. Nice architectural shot but think that it could cropping to tighten up on the main subject I feel my attention bouncing around the picture looking for a detail that is not there. |

Mummy's bedby FandangoComment: Very nice way of showing the idea. My personal recollection of such a time & age was not so much getting in the bed as jumping off the wardrobe on to it. Boy was that some thick feather mattress cover. Difference between boys and girls I suppose!
Well done. |

Remembering the good old days.by sigs10Comment: Great expression evoking her recalling some long forgotten memory.
I would have liked to have seen greater composition. The lampshade growing out of her head and the glass display IMO not good. I feel sure there is a better portrait there somewhere with this sitter. |

The Palaceby JBosieComment: Depending on ones childhood such images do recall what we did and at what time in our lives. This particular shot I suspect would mean mor eto those that know this specific building.
Good shot but I would like to see it bigger. |

The rings are all thats left of their loveby trainComment: A very personal "nostalgic" look.
But nice nontheless - though I have not entered this challenge I had a similar idea but not using rings i.e.old picture of relative with legacy items. |
