Where do Pineapples come from?by DaveMacComment: I think the processing is a little overdone here. But what an interesting shot! The pineapples definitely surprised me. The one pineapple on top of the car really makes the shot. |

Growing Upby kenskidComment: I remember when you posted some pictures of her in the forums. This is MUCH better than those. Wow, what an improvement! |

Goldenby colorcarnivalComment: The clarity of this photo, and the detail that exists because of it is absolutely astounding.
Very awesome portrait of a not commonly photographed bird. I love it! 10 |

Congrats on your good finish, and I hope you didn't take my criticism too personally. |

Moment in flightby BrinComment: This seagull is in great focus. However, there are two reasons why I cannot give this a good score.
1, the bokeh in the background is actually quite distracting and pulls attention away from the bird.
2, the eye of the seagull is not visible which is very important to me.
If the eye was visible, I might be able to forgive the house. I think this is just one of those examples of a technically very well done photo doing poorly simply based on being captured a second too late and from a slightly bad angle. 4 |

Dewdrop Damsel by DrAchooComment: Holy Smokes! This is breathtaking!
I give very few images instant 10s, generally I give them 8s or 9s, and later realize that they deserve a higher score.
This is one of those rare occasions where I crank it out right away. Stunning! |

A sitting butterflyby prashant_168Comment: Beautiful subject, but the bokeh is rather bland. I am conflicted on voting on this image probably more so than any other image in this challenge, because I just can't decide which should weigh more heavily for me the subject or the bokeh (i.e. the challenge theme) |

New York Taxiby keenasComment: If that first car was in focus, this would be a fantastic image. What I am missing here is an infocus subject to really strengthen the image. |
