A Year Ago......Tomatosby autoolComment: Ah, suburbia! We are all sheep! This is a good capture. The conformity of these people makes me sad, which is good b/c that means your shot got a point across to me. The only thing I wish is that just right of center the street and houses are dark. I'm guessing from the angle of the sun. (from the shadows) Good luck. |

McNay Art Museum - Main Entrance - ala 1950by JC_HomolaComment: Hmmm.. This would be a really nice shot but it looks like there's too much level adjustment in the post editing. (Or you used too much of a filter on the camera) Was origional shot too bright? Well, good luck. |

Forgotten dairyby NatatorComment: Looks like some kids had fun here. This is a nice clear shot all around, but I'm affraid you might get docked points from peeople saying "it doesn't jump out at me". There's something to be said for the simple things. Good luck. |

Amsterdamby pedroviegasComment: First off, I love the look on that seagull's face. And nice job of capturing the other gull in mid-air. The entire shot is focused perfectly and the bike parking deck makes for a very interesting subject. -especially for those who have never seen one before. I like this, good luck! |

Reflectionby ktritoComment: Hmm... interesting. I'm not quite sure how you did this. I'm guessing from the title that it's reflecting off of something. However, I think there are a couple things that are bugging me. I think a little bit tighter crop would eliminate that blurry part in the bottom right. Also I think this is coming from the shiny reflection surface but, the sky looks smudged or smog filled? Other than that, this is a good idea and effort. I'll bet this looked cool in color. |

Syracuse Inner Harborby MWittComment: I like your depth of focus here. The nearground is clear as is the church and skyline in the farground. Taking a closer look, I'm starting to visualize this as a "strip of Urban land". The water and sky seem to form a natural border around the land. Very peaceful. Nice job. |

Downtown at sunriseby CamComment: Nice capture of the sun at that "perfect" angle. It's not too high and bright, it's just high enough to outline the skyline. I like the composition of negative space in the amount of sky showing relative to the ground as well. Good luck. |

A Mother's Worst Nightmareby ShannonComment: I can't tell what's going on here. I think you would have had a really strong photo here if it was a bit lighter. Good luck.
PS- I look at this pic again at work too (on a LCD flat panel) and it comes out much better! |
