What I understand is that basic editing requires minimum modification on your image. My style is to "take pictures as is" as much as possible. I am aware that imperpfection can be easily edited in Photoshop but I wanted to make sure my images qualifies because it is not clear to me the limitations of the rules (I have a poor reading comprehension). I now realized why my images are getting very low appreciation which is shown in the votes because of my simple images. Anyway, I would want to learn first to focus on the basics of photography before I move on to "flashy" editing. I think this is not the right time to participate in this challenges. Thank you for your comments. It somehow enlightened me having these flaws. Again, thanks to your support.

I can see this is a very boring composition. Thanks for your suggestions. I hope I will improve my images as well as you do. My entries are getting worse from 4.8 to 4.4 :(

Thanks for the comments. I am new in this field and would appreciate your views. The problem here in Saudi Arabia is that the subjects are limited. You can't shoot in the streets where photojournalism should be taken. I have taken this one as a "tourist" taking advantage only of the school's event. There was no special place for photographers and the setup is quite a rumble of picture takers. Anyway, please be patient with my entries. I am actually disappointed with my results. I don't know where to start with. It seems I do not have an eye for good images:(
