wonders of the world but no $by jgirl57Comment: this is a cute shot. And I like the processing. I didn't score it very high because it didn't grab me personally (although the no $$ part if HIGHLY relate-able..ha!). I was looking for more monumental images. Good Luck! |

Fisherman's Wharf Memorialby Tap10Comment: as I scroll the images again, I find myself more drawn to this. I really like the perspective! But, I didn't score it very high though, mainly because of the on camera flash. For me personally, it feels just a bit too bright for the circumstance. Confusing my brain a bit since the main light source is coming from the other direction. Good luck! |

Return from Civil War by mluComment: I really like the subject and the comp on this one. I didn't score it very high (4) because I felt it may have been a 'button push' on the post work. I always hesitate to comment critically like that because I don't know what software you're using and MORE IMPORTANTLY...we all have different tastes. But I wanted to explain why I gave the score I did. It feels like an HDR image. May be single frame with the HDR adjustment applied. What influenced my score was that I felt it has flatten out the image too much. Moving everything to similar brightness/contrast levels. Good luck! |

The Williams Familyby GeneralEComment: I didn't score this very high (4). I just didn't feel there was enough strength in the subject to grab ahold of me and keep me looking. As I keep looking, it seems an interesting location, so there may be more there to explore in the details. Good luck! |

OKC: Remembering When Time Stood Stillby postoakinversionComment: i like idea of this one. I don't feel you got the results you may have wanted. I feel these long exposure night shots require multiple exposures to drill down the shadows and the highlights, then for that to be blended together. As I wrote on another image that I didn't score very well, I'm always hesitant to comment critically, because you never know the circumstance of the shot. If you're not familiar with the process I'm mentioning above, feel free to hit me with a PM and I'll send you a few links to some photogs who are perfecting the technique. I think this subject is worth the effort. |
