no, don't lighten her face. if you want to see a difference, i'd see what adding a darker layer (just drop the brightness) and use a layer mask to bring back those great highlights. it'd take a lot of painting but i think it could look pretty good. that's what i'd try, anyway. :)

next time, maybe a gold reflector? or do it on the cheap and tape foil to cardbord and color it with an orange marker. it'll rub off on your fingers but gives a pretty great quality reflected light...and did i mention it is cheap? :)

you're right, the image quality is great but a wider crop (especially on the right) would have added interest and helped to open the image up a bit. i like the look on her face, though, and your lighting is nice, as well.
