Amazing image Very nicely captured and processed. It reminded me storms in Midwest (the only difference is mountains vs. flat corn fields in Midwest)

I think lowering your POV a bit would help with this, and perhaps aiming your camera such that the stream disappears into the edge of either the right or the left would help. Bring the stream into more of a primary role. A longer shutter speed with higher aperture would help this as well, especially since you had the room to do so. The water would take on a more silky look instead of being so transparent.
