Swirls and Sparklesby MaryOComment: no data. could be anything from welded wire to a swirl of toothpaste. the addition of water and the neon metallic colors (or it could be an anodized piece of metal) through any identification to the wind. The capture stands alone; great color, nice sparkle, very eye-catching...7. |

redundantby LutchenkoComment: The item is obvious but the picture is still very cool. Really like the white on white with the colorized paste. Who's got kids, you have kids!...7 |

Forecast: Stormy Weather Ahead!by ikopanasComment: The image is awesome. I'm not at all sure what the refection is captured upon but it looks like a convex mirror by the distortion at the edges...7 |

Facing Father Timeby kleskiComment: awesome use of color. like the level of saturation very much especially in the sulfured yellows. the center section is reminiscent of a waterfall of bricks. very cool 9 |

Skeletonsby glad2badadComment: great concept. i think a narrower DOF would have mottled the trees in the background giving almost a studio back drop look. Still my favorite 8. |

Forgottenby MsAmbrosiaComment: believe it or not this started as a 5. I kept going back to it and every time I saw it I liked it better and better. It has the most fitting title of all the entries. I don't even know why, but I love this photo. great composition, love the single tone post-processing, love the bleached worn look that the whites produce. As a single point of criticism, i would have shifted left a hair to better utilize the rule of thirds and dilute the lower, left dark corner. very, very well done... now its a 10 |
