Two Kissesby TooCoolComment: Too much hair on the lip really detracts from the quality of the message. |

Sunny dayby asijComment: O.K., the sun is one light, where's the second light source? Did you use fill flash from that far away? |

Pinwheelby mattrixComment: Though motion and light are depicted, there is no subject focused on. |

Paradise by Candlelightby doveyComment: This is not a good shot in my opinion and I'll tell you why:
The light probably should have been placed in a way so as to elongate the shadows. Here, the light is in the wrong position. If you look at the outstretched leg, it is not long and sexy, it is short and stubby.
The way the model is posed, it looks like she is trying to climb up, onto, and over the chair to get at something behind it. It's not natural.

Young and Oldby NeuferlandComment: Wow... shutter speed of 1/15. Not good for shooting people as they move around quite a bit. (Hence the motion blur on the boy.) With the FP 3800, I wouldn't even try to shoot people with a shutter speed less than 1/100.
So that's motion blur, not a focus problem in the foreground. You can see the depth created by f2.8 in the window frame in the background.
Good greyscale conversion! |

Lights Outby bruskiComment: The rotation you did was good, but the crop was bad. The leading line is the kneck of the lamp. Half of the kneck is cut off. |
